GUADALAJARA.- This Monday, defender Oswaldo Alanís underwent the corresponding medical exams to join San Jose Earthquakes as a reinforcement, after this possibility gained more strength in recent hours.
Alanís revealed that he wants to continue his career in a place where he can be considered and have the opportunity to play, as he is considered the last player in the line of defenders in Chivas, a situation that he admits he does not like.
"With the desire for things to go well and to be able to contribute wherever possible and where we can move forward," he said after leaving the clinic where he underwent the studies this morning.
"What does it mean for you to be the last in line of defenders?"
"It's difficult, I don't think any player likes it because you want to have the possibility of playing, so we will continue forward. I want to play, I want to contribute, that's the most important thing. What we can and want to do is play football and be out there," said the defender, still with Guadalajara.
It is expected that the incorporation of Alanís as a reinforcement of San Jose Earthquakes, which is led by Matías Almeyda, will be officially announced by the Californian club shortly.
