The Peruvian Under-23 National Team, led by Nolberto Solano, managed to recover from a 0-2 deficit in the first half and ended up winning 3-2 to keep their chances of qualifying for the Final Quadrangular of the 2020 Pre-Olympic.

The Peruvian Under-23 soccer team will face their Paraguayan counterpart tonight in the 2020 Pre-Olympic Tournament in Colombia, after their defeat against Brazil by 1-0 in their first match of the tournament. After resting in the recent round, the Peruvian team will seek their first victory in the Centenario Stadium in the city of Armenia.
Nolberto Solano's team will look for a victory in the competition to get into the fight for one of the spots that would allow them to qualify for the second round and, with it, fight for a ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
"We are focused on having to go out and look for the game, knowing that they have had more tiredness and have not had rest. We have to play well and make them run," said Solano.
Likewise, the coach praised Fernando Pacheco, one of the players with the best performance in the 'Blanquirroja'. "Fernando has given us important maturity.
On the other hand, Paraguay arrives motivated after defeating Bolivia 2-0.
