The one-year punishment for Hachen is too drastic: Gabriel Caballero

Argentine Gabriel Hachen has been suspended for one year from any competition organized by the FMF, due to assaulting a referee during pre-season. Gabriel Caballero, coach of the Juárez Bravos, considered that the altercation between his player and the referee was exaggerated.

"It's an altercation, a moment of anger, it was exaggerated a bit. It's not that the incident is exaggerated, but the punishment is too drastic, but we will comply," said Gabriel Caballero, coach of the Juárez Bravos.

The disciplinary committee decided to sanction the Argentine with a one-year suspension, after he slapped the referee in the pre-season game between Juárez and the Universidad Autónoma de Chihuahua. The club announced that they would comply with the sanction, but the player appealed it to the Disciplinary Committee on his own.

"It's personal matter. I don't know the agreements they reached and the team continues to support him," added the coach.

For now, Hachen and Bravos have not yet reached an agreement to define the future of the Argentine, since the forward was considered for the Clausura 2020 and the coach himself does not know if they can wait for his case to be resolved in the Disciplinary Committee.

"We don't know what could happen, he has always been in our plans. We are seeing what is best for him and us."

JUÁREZ LOOKING FOR A REINFORCEMENT IN ITALY

Coach Gabriel Caballero mentioned that his team is still looking for two reinforcements for the next season. One is central defender Bruno Romo, who comes from Chilean football, and the other is a full-back playing in Italy, although the name has not been revealed yet.

"We are looking for two defenders. One is Romo, who is already in the team, and the other is a full-back. [...] He comes from Europe, from Italy," commented the coach.
