Alberto del Rio, Mex-America champion, and one of the favorites to win the WWE Heavyweight Championship tournament, faced Stardust in the round of 16 during the broadcast of Smackdown on November 12th.
3 points:
- The double-stomp by Alberto loses more sense every time he applies it, it's a very bad finishing move, a member of the Mil Máscaras dynasty should have a much more significant finishing move, or are Mark Henry or Bray Wyatt going to stay stuck in the corner when Alberto faces them?
- Strange that this match happened, being a heel vs heel duel, and moreover, Stardust's strange character does not allow much development of the Mex-America angle with Alberto and Zeb.
- Seriously, that finishing move is really bad.
