The Brazilian Roberto Firmino scored the winning goal for Liverpool against Tottenham. The match for the 22nd round of the Premier League was played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, home of the 'Spurs'.
At 37 minutes, Firmino approached the opponent's goal after a great pass in the area by Mohamed Salah. The Brazilian shot at the goal and opened the score. However, the goal was reviewed by VAR due to a possible handball by Jordan Henderson before Salah's contact, but it was concluded that there was none.
Tottenham tried to equalize the match with great plays by Son Heung-Min, but the great performance of Alisson Becker left no opportunities for Mourinho's team. The 'Spurs' couldn't add three points at home and suffered another defeat in the Portuguese era.
Liverpool defeated Tottenham 1-0 in the 22nd round of the Premier League and establishes itself as the undisputed and unbeatable winner of the competition. The 'Reds' remain at the top of the English league with 61 points, 16 more than Leicester who is with 45 points.
