Quito -
The right-back Pedro Pablo Perlaza, 28, is one step away from signing with Liga de Quito, after having a great season with Delfin, with which he ended up becoming the champion of LigaPro 2019.
"Only details are missing" for Perlaza to join the university club, a source close to the Quito club told this newspaper on Wednesday, December 18.
Executive Esteban Paz, in turn, recognized Liga's interest in the Esmeraldan footballer, and even indicated that they presented an economic proposal that must be analyzed by the cetacean leadership.
On another note, Paz told radio La Red from Quito that they are looking to acquire the rights of the Uruguayan Carlos Rodríguez, whose pass belongs to Plaza Colonia, and is valued at $800,000.
Meanwhile, the acquisition of Jefferson Orejuela is still uncertain because the amount requested by Fluminense from Brazil is "unattainable" (about $1,500,000), he said.
Meanwhile, Jacob Murillo, Julio Angulo, and Édison Realpe will leave the institution. The departure of José Ayoví is still being analyzed.
The future of midfielder Andrés Chicaiza is also not defined yet, as the Otavalo native has expressed his desire to leave due to the lack of opportunities given to him by coach Pablo Repetto this year. (D)
