Recently Olimpia, hand in hand with Pedro Troglio, was crowned champion of the first division of Honduras and had among its key players midfielder Germán Mejía, who after the match against Marathón had some heartfelt words for his wife and his coach.
"I dedicate this to my wife who is there. She has always supported me. I don't like training in the morning and it's my wife who wakes me up. She demands and helps me. She takes care of my diet. I eat a lot and I'm prone to gaining weight, but Troglio has helped me. I was born to play and I have always given everything for this club," said the 25-year-old midfielder.
Before playing the last match of the final playoff, Germán Mejía received the news that his grandmother had been diagnosed with cancer and yet he managed to establish himself in Pedro Troglio's team and be a regular in the starting lineup.
