Cristiano Ronaldo dismissed rumors of a potential injury by training normally with the Portugal National Team, who are preparing for the Euro 2020 qualifying match against Lithuania on Thursday.
The Juventus forward could be seen training without any issues during the 15-minute practice open to the press at the sports complex in Oeiras, on the outskirts of Lisbon.
Rumors about the state of the former Real Madrid player started after he was substituted in the 55th minute against Milan on Sunday, and his coach, Maurizio Sarri's subsequent statements suggested that the change was due to some kind of physical discomfort.
"He was kicked twenty days ago and hasn't been able to train properly since then," Sarri said in a press conference after the match against Milan.
"That's the issue, the lack of continuity in training," he added, although he downplayed the situation by stating that "the problem is not serious."
'CR7', who visibly showed his frustration after being substituted in the last match, has been training normally with his national team, which raises doubts about whether there really are physical problems or if the substitution was a tactical decision.
