GUADALAJARA -- Former Chivas player, Omar Bravo, highlighted the good work of Alan Pulido and pointed out that his performances have a lot of merit considering the irregular level shown by the Rebaño Sagrado in the Apertura 2019.
Pulido, who in Matchday 19 against Veracruz will seek the top scorer title, has ten goals and is two goals away from the leader, Mauro Quiroga, from Necaxa. Since 2011 with Ángel Reyna, the Liga MX has not had a Mexican top scorer, so Alan is exciting the rojiblanca fans.
Bravo, the all-time leading scorer for Guadalajara, hopes that Alan achieves that accomplishment, for the sake of Mexican forwards.
"I hope it can happen. For many more. It is important to showcase national talent. I understand that there is always a lot of competition from abroad. Sometimes because we allow it, or because there are generations that don't deliver. Today (José Juan) Macías is doing very well. Alan is competing from a different place with the team practically out of contention, and that is also commendable," he said.

"I would rather give my opinion when he retires because he has been retiring every six months. I don't believe him anymore. I'll wait for him to make it official," he said with laughter. Individually, Bravo Tordecillas defends the Leones Negros jersey in the Ascenso Mx. They have qualified for the playoffs and he acknowledges that nothing would make him happier than being able to win the championship and aim for promotion with the team from Guadalajara.
"For me, it would be very gratifying (to be champion with Leones Negros). I was retired for two years and coming back is not easy.
