VERACRUZ -- The match between Veracruz and America this Friday will mark the reunion of Angel Reyna with the Eagles; however, the Mexican midfielder wants to defeat the team of his dreams, because he is a professional and he owes it to the Tiburones Rojos.

"Obviously, I owe it to Veracruz. I am a professional and I want to beat America. I will never wish them ill and I have always celebrated their titles. At this moment, I am the first one who wants to beat them and on the field, we all want victory," he said.

"It is something very beautiful (to see America). It is like seeing the love of your life after many years. I was a champion in all the youth categories and I was the top scorer in the Second and First divisions. These are things that I hold dear in my heart and America is the team that saw me born and saw me as a footballer," he declared exclusively to ESPN.

Reyna is the last Mexican goal-scoring champion, an achievement he obtained in the Clausura 2011 Tournament when he scored 13 goals, and with that record, the native of Mexico City confessed that he would love to continue with the Eagles.

"I would have loved to stay at America all my life. I have experienced very beautiful things in all the teams. That's life and you have to move forward," he said.

Finally, he acknowledged that when his playing career ends, he plans to stay in the field, but this time as a coach.

"Outside of football, I dedicate myself to other things and I'm calm in that situation. I would like to be a player for many years and then a coach. I like to teach, I am very strict, but I like it, especially with young players," he said.
