"Puebla FC" coach Juan Reynoso says loss to Veracruz was a tough blow
He said that the defeat hurt a lot because it was against a team that hadn't won in 430 days in the Liga MX.
"The irony says that we made history by losing to a team that couldn't win, and the whole defeat hurts. But it hurts even more because of the irony, and today it happens to us, something we didn't expect," Reynoso said in a press conference after the match.
On the other hand, the former Real Garcilaso coach stated that he hopes this defeat serves as a lesson for the team.
"This result is very tough, but if it's a learning experience, it will be fuel. But if they hide and don't want to be here, it will be super important to reverse the situation emotionally and physically to plan a good game against Pumas and make our home ground respected," added the Peruvian coach.
Since taking over as coach of the club, Reynoso has led them in 13 games, with a record of three wins, four draws, and six losses. In the last six games, both in the league and the cup, Reynoso's team hasn't been able to win.
