In recent weeks, several teams expressed their annoyance over a supposed advantage that Binacional has in Juliaca. In response, Roberto Mosquera said, "
"Maybe it's a bit inhumane to play there, it's not easy, but when we entered the tournament, we knew that. No one forces them to participate and Juliaca is part of Peru. They must find a solution, I have also been on the other side (in a team that is not at high altitude)," said Roberto Mosquera on Radio Ovación.
"In the six matches that I have coached here, I have won 5 and lost one (against Melgar 1-0), although we deserved to win. That speaks more than what I can say," concluded Roberto Mosquera.
Binacional were champions of the Torneo Apertura, they are at the top of the Accumulated table, and are in contention to win the Torneo Clausura. The 'Powerful of the South' is a strong candidate to win the national title at the end of the year.
