Libertad prepares to face Olimpia
Iván Piris, who served his one-game suspension, would return to the right lane instead of Paulo Da Silva, whose position will be filled by Luis Cardozo. Óscar Tacuara Cardozo for Adrián Martínez would be the second change. The rest would be the same as the one that defeated Sol (1-0) in round 14. Colombian Macnelly Torres, who is still not fully recovered from a microfiber strain in his right adductor, will continue to be out of the lineup.
The lineup would be as follows: Martín Silva; Piris, L. Cardozo, Diego Viera, and Matías Espinoza; Antonio Bareiro, Alexander Mejía, Cristian Riveros, and Iván Franco; Blas Cáceres and O. Cardozo. Gumarelo is the only team that has defeated Olimpia in the 2019 Clausura (2-0 in Sajonia).
Chamot has officiated 40 matches (15 Apertura, 14 Clausura, 7 Libertadores, and 4 Copa Py). He won 25, drew 4, and lost 11.
Chamot's longest winning streak is of 4 games, which he achieved twice: in the Apertura 2019 and the Clausura.
"The players should be the protagonists"
Rubén Di Tore, vice president of Libertad, referred to the commitment against Franjeado, assuring that they are "extremely prepared" and that they expect to win.
"It is a very important match, and we have to try not to lose," said the leader to local media. He also stated that "the players" are the protagonists and that sometimes referees or leaders want to play the match, "and that's not how it is," he said.
On the other hand, he spoke about the section reserved for Gumarela fans and especially for the leaders. "I have no idea how the organization will be there (in Para Uno). They always offer us the boxes, but we prefer to be there with the people or near the locker room," he commented.
