Warm up the engines. From October 12th to 20th, the most emblematic competition of the country will take place: the Rally Caminos del Inca. There are 46 crews that will fight to inscribe their name in the select list of winners of the car race.
The Rally Caminos del Inca, which will carry the name of the late Ive Bromberg Dubreuil, will travel through the regions of Lima, Junin, Huancavelica, Ayacucho, Apurimac, Cusco, Arequipa, and Ica. There will be a total of five stages of full excitement and adrenaline.
Among the participants of the forty-ninth edition is the last champion of the Caminos del Inca: Richard Palomino, who will try to repeat the feat alongside his co-driver Augusto Larrea.
But he is not the only one returning to participate in the most important race in the country. Fernanda Kanno is also among the participants.
The Trucks category (which was first held in 1987) will have more competing crews (16), followed by the Super 2000 with 11 vehicles at the start; later comes the Super 1600 category with 8 cars.
This year, the Promotional Start will take place on Thursday, the 10th, in Chorrillos (Agua Dulce) starting at 7 pm, and it will be a magnificent opportunity for the fans in the capital to experience this motor sport celebration up close.
