Sporting Cristal and UTC will face each other this Saturday at Heroes de San Ramon stadium, for the ninth round of the Clausura Tournament. The celestial team arrived in Cajamarca with Manuel Barreto, where they were received by various fans with banners and flags.
The Rimense squad has its sights set on the Clausura title, so they want to remain unbeaten in the remaining matches to stay as the undisputed leader of the standings.
In the last match of the celestial team at Alberto Gallardo, Barreto's team took the three points from the last match with a close 1-0 win against Ayacucho FC.

On the other hand, UTC lost 4-0 to Sport Boys at Miguel Grau del Callao. This bad run of matches cost Franco Navarro his job, who decided to step aside and Gerardo Ameli assumed the position, who will coach the Cajamarca team from the bench.
Sporting Cristal and UTC will face each other in a decisive match, especially for the new coach of Gavilan del Norte, as it will mark his debut. The match is scheduled for this Saturday at 3:30 p.m. at Heroes de San Ramon stadium.
If they win this match, the Rimense team would take the first place in the Clausura Tournament standings, awaiting the result of the Universitario vs. Alianza Lima match, as they would reach 19 points with a wide goal difference.
