Peruvian Women's National Soccer Team Demands Equality
They keep adding up. Last Friday, the girls from the Peruvian women's soccer team held a demonstration at the South Esplanade of the National Stadium to raise their voice and demand equality in soccer. The call was so strong and had repercussions that it reached Brazilian soccer player Marta Silva.
The international soccer player who shone in the last World Cup with the Brazilian national team learned about the campaign organized in Peru and did not hesitate to join through her official Instagram account, which has over two million followers.
The player shared several images in her stories. One of the main requests from the girls who are part of the Peruvian women's soccer team and other clubs is: proper infrastructure to play better, dissemination, and access for fans to have their support.
