The Peruvian Volleyball Team secured their spot in the quarterfinals of the Under-18 World Championship after defeating the Argentinian team by three sets to one. Their next opponent will be Italy, who beat Puerto Rico 3-0.
The team led by Natalia Málaga lost the first set 25-16, but then rallied against the Argentinians in the following stages with scores of 25-15, 25-22, and 26-24.
The next competition for the national team will be on September 12th. It is worth noting that Italy will face our country with a record of victories and no defeats, which earned them first place in Group B, surpassing the United States.
