With the aim of seeking revenge and returning to play in the Peruvian first division, Diego Chávez will defend the colors of José Glavez. That's why he has already trained with the first team in preparation for the first match of the National Stage for the Copa Perú.
The former player of Universitario de Deportes has joined the training sessions of the Chimbote team in order to be included in the squad and play the match against Deportivo Independiente Miraflores this Sunday, September 8th at 3:30 p.m.
Diego Chávez was champion with Universitario in the 2013 season, when Ángel Comizzo was the coach of the team. Afterwards, the right back did not maintain a good performance and was involved in different disciplinary acts which affected his football career.
José Gálvez won the departmental title after defeating Sport Áncash in a tight final. Now, under the command of Kevin Rueda, they will aim for promotion to the League 1 of the Peruvian tournament.
