Villarreal coach considers the team closed: only awaiting Cáseres' departure
The Villarreal CF coach, Javier Calleja, said on Friday that the reinforcement market for his team "is closed," although he does leave the door open for the departure of Argentine midfielder Santi Cáseres (22, photo), who has an offer from SD Huesca to leave on loan.

In terms of reinforcements, the Madrid coach stated that he does not expect "any more arrivals in this market," nor does he desire them, as "we have a great squad and all our needs are covered," he explained. In total, the LaLiga team has made six signings in the summer transfer market.
However, in terms of departures, he acknowledged that the possibility of Santi Cáseres leaving is open in the remaining days of the market, in addition to informing that Villarreal and Huesca are "negotiating" this operation.
Although the clubs have reached a preliminary agreement for the player's loan, the main obstacle to closing the deal is that the Argentine midfielder was reluctant to this option as he did not consider playing in the Second Division.

Currently, the player is working separately from the group, as according to the coach, he needs to do "special work so that he can reach optimal condition to compete here or in another team," he assured.
Calleja highlighted that another player who could be loaned out by the club is midfielder Leo Suárez, who was being sought for a possible loan move to another club, although he has many options to continue in the first team of Villarreal.
