Women's team of Universitario de Deportes suffers

The women's team of Universitario de Deportes plays under terrible conditions on the field of the Lolo Fernández stadium located in Breña, according to the photos published on social media by Danitza Leyva, leader of the women's team.

"This is the condition of the Lolo Fernández stadium field (I walked an eighth of the field, everything else is the same or worse). The U plays here as the home team in the National Women's Football Championship, and maybe other competitions as well. Are we waiting for someone to get injured?", wrote Danitza Leyva.

The field of the Lolo Fernández stadium is made of synthetic grass and it is in bad condition due to its use. There are many areas with holes, which make it difficult for the women's team to play and also expose them to injuries.

Universitario de Deportes is going through a difficult economic situation and one of the consequences is the poor condition of the field and the lack of support for the women's team.
