With a big ovation, the Peruvian team closed the parade of delegations at the 2019 Parapan American Games at the National Stadium. The flag was carried by para taekwondo athlete Angélica Espinoza.
Following the parade of 29 countries, the Peruvian delegation entered the National Stadium to receive the applause and encouragement from the attendees. It is worth recalling that there are 139 representatives who will give their all in one of the seven venues.

This opening of the 2019 Parapan American Games will be led by the band Bareto. The staging will address topics such as the biodiversity of Peru and life in general.
Likewise, a 'symbiosis' will be represented. There will be golden characters, based on life and the interconnection between human beings. It is worth noting that the closing ceremony will be on September 1st, also at the National Stadium.
