The now former forward of Universitario de Deportes, Germán Denis, terminated his contract with the team from Ate and headed to Europe to continue his career with Reggina Calcio in Italy.
The Argentine soccer player joined the team led by Ángel Comizzo in August of last year. During the time he wore the cream jersey, 'Tanque' played matches that marked him and that he will carry in his memory, but none like the classic against Alianza Lima.
"I take with me the goal against Sport Huancayo, against Sporting Cristal, and I have a good memory of the classic in Matute against Alianza Lima," said the forward, smiling.
It should be noted that the match between Alianza Lima and Universitario de Deportes that was played in the first half of the year, for the Torneo Apertura, ended with a 2-3 score in favor of the visiting team.
The goals of the match were scored by Junior Morales, Pablo Lavandeira, and Nelinho Quina for the 'cremas', and a brace by Federico Rodriguez for the 'íntimos'.
