Jerry Lawler goes to the ring to host a new edition of 'The King's Court'. With a microphone in hand, he talks about the return of the tournament The King of the Ring, mentioning some legends who have won it - like 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin -, and shows how the brackets will be in this edition.
Suddenly, the lights start to dim. A sign that 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt is near. Jerry knows it, so he gets off the ring and starts going up the ramp. Unfortunately, when he stops at the entrance to the stage, Wyatt appears behind him and applies his 'mandible claw', leaving him unconscious.
One of WWE's traditional tournaments will return in 2019. It's called the King of the Ring, where eight superstars from each brand - Raw and SmackDownLive - will compete to become the new monarch of the company.
So far, the company has confirmed the first two matches of the anticipated competition that will take place on the red show: Cesaro vs Samoa Joe; and Cedric Alexander vs Sami Zayn. The two winners will advance to the next stage.
