Emanuel Herrera is still working on his recovery, after suffering an injury that has kept him away from the field until now. This Sunday, Sporting Cristal released the official medical report, revealing the situation of the player.
In the issued statement, it is mentioned that Emanuel Herrera is doing strength and motor coordination exercises on the field. This stage will last approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
It is the third month of rehabilitation that the Sporting Cristal player has been undergoing. After the work he has been doing, Emanuel Herrera will be evaluated again and, depending on his progress, will start reconditioning exercises.
As a reminder, Emanuel Herrera suffered an injury in the match against Universitario for the Apertura Tournament. The top scorer of Sporting Cristal tore the patellar tendon of his left knee in an accidental action.
On the other hand, Sporting Cristal will continue to participate in the Bicentenario Cup. The celestial team will play on Monday, August 12th, for a spot in the quarterfinals of the competition. The match against Sport Boys will be held at 8:00 p.m. at the Miguel Grau stadium in Callao.
