Manuel Alejandro López Salcedo is a 33-year-old Mexican Greco-Roman wrestler. He has participated in two World Championships, finishing in tenth place in 2011. He achieved fifth place in the 2011 Pan American Games. He won two medals at the Central American and Caribbean Games, gold in 2010. He obtained three medals in the Pan American Championships, silver in 2006 and 2008. He finished third in the 2014 Central American and Caribbean Championships.
The gold medal was won by the Cuban Ismael Borrero, who defeated the Venezuelan Shalom Villegas with a resounding 12-0 in the final of the category. With this, Cuba added one more gold medal and reached 17 gold medals, tying with Argentina and Colombia, but still far from Canada's 24 medals.
