After two years under the goal of América de México, Agustín Marchesín decided to step aside and sign with Porto in Portugal. In this way, his position was vacant and one of the most talked about to replace him was the goalkeeper from Alianza Lima, Pedro Gallese.
However, this afternoon, Mexican media began to confirm that the chosen one to replace Marchesín would be Guillermo Ochoa, as he would have already reached an agreement with the club and would be close to closing the deal.
Guillermo Ochoa returns to América. He ends his European dream. He does it for money and, I assume, for love of the bluecream shirt...

It is worth noting that Marchesín himself stated, at the time, that he would like 'Memo' Ochoa to take his place in the Mexican club. "I leave with three championships, as a goalkeeper I would like Memo to come, it would be the icing on the cake. He is a symbol in Mexico and it is an opportunity that hopefully he can take," said the player.
Pedro Gallese, on the other hand, has a contract until the end of the year with Alianza Lima. The player is the official goalkeeper of the 'blanquiazul' team and has played 13 matches so far in the Liga 1.
