Samsung presents its new smartwatch
Before the launch of its flagship, the Galaxy Note 10, Samsung presented on August 5 its new smartwatch capable of informing us about our physical activity, controlling our stress levels, and sending us heart rate information. This is the Galaxy Watch Active 2. What's new?
The wrist device will arrive in September, designed in two different sizes: 44 mm and 40 mm in diameter. Its body is made of lightweight aluminum with a casual fluororubber (FKM) band and another solid stainless steel model with a leather strap.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 has new functions compared to last year's model. This time it features a rotating bezel to improve practicality when navigating and maximize the screen size.
The touchable rotating bezel rotates both clockwise and counterclockwise to move through screens. This makes it easier to select favorite applications. In addition, the improved One user interface offers a simple, clear, and natural user experience.
Among other standout features of the device is that it serves as a guide to improve health and well-being, providing practical information that can help you make positive decisions about your lifestyle, diet, exercise, mental health, sleep, and more.

For example, with exercise, the smartwatch can manually track over 39 workouts and automatically activate seven of them, including running, walking, cycling, swimming, rowing, using the elliptical machine, and performing dynamic workouts. With an updated Running Coach, you can monitor your running pace in real-time and enjoy seven different running programs to help you achieve your goals.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 also incorporates new innovative health sensors on the back that enable accelerated readings. In this way, it quickly obtains information to maximize your exercise routine and keep you on the right track. It is also possible to perform electrocardiograms that can be sent to our email, similar to Apple Watch.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 will be available in Cloud Silver, Aqua Black, and Pink Gold colors with a fluororubber strap for the aluminum version, and in Silver, Black, and Gold with a leather strap for the stainless steel design.
They also have IP68 rating, making them water and dust resistant, as well as compatibility with all Android devices above 5.0, as well as iOS, starting from iPhone 5 onwards.
