Pacheco is another candidate for a medal in Shooting. The national athlete finished fifth in the second elimination day and will compete in the final this afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Las Palmas Air Base.
Pacheco finished fourth in the Pan American Games Toronto 2015, so this time he hopes to make it onto the podium. This time, he will compete against Guatemalan Juan Schaeffer, Chilean Héctor Flores, American Elliot Christian, Canadian Trysten Curran-Routledge, and Mexican Luis Gallardo.
On the second elimination day, Pacheco scored 24 points in the first round, 24 in the second, 25 in the third, and 24 in the fourth, accumulating a total of 97 points, finishing in fifth place and securing his spot in the final.
