Daniela Borda qualified for the final this morning, after finishing in fifth place in her group with a total of 116 shots: 24 in the first round, 22 in the second, 23 in the third, 22 in the fourth, and 25 in the last phase.
However, Borda was eliminated in the first round of the final, after hitting only 13 shots. The Mexican athlete Gabriela Rodríguez finished in fifth place with 22 hits.
The American athlete Kimberly Rhode won the gold medal, breaking the Pan American record with 55 well-executed shots. She was followed by the Chilean athlete Francisca Crovetto with 47 hits, and the American athlete Dania Vizzi with 40 hits.
