With two very good waves, totaling 13.97 points, Mafer managed to overcome one of the strongest competitors in the tournament, Tiare Thompson, who scored 10.86. Now, in the next round, she will face Argentinean Maria Gil Boggan in repechage 4 with the aim of reaching the semifinals of Women's Longboard.
