Eusebio Acasuzo
Former goalkeeper with a memorable stint at Universitario de Deportes, praised Bolivian midfielder Henry Vaca for his impressive debut in the Torneo Clausura with a 0-1 victory against Pirata FC.
"He's a good player. He has made an impact with what little we've seen from him. He has good passes, he's fast, skillful. He'll be very useful to 'U'. I wonder why he came to play here. Bolivian football also has its qualities," he said in an interview with Gol Peru.
For Eusebio Acasuzo, Henry Vaca's arrival in Peruvian football is a consequence of the Peruvian national team's achievements: qualification for the 2018 World Cup and reaching the final of the last Copa América held in Brazil.
"Peruvian football can also be a stepping stone to other leagues," added Eusebio Acasuzo, who played in the 1982 World Cup with the Peruvian national team and was part of the squad that won the 1975 Copa América.
