"Angel Has Fallen"

"Angel Has Fallen," a film starring Gerard Butler, released a new trailer filled with action scenes. The movie, directed by Ric Roman Waugh, will hit theaters on August 23 and promises an epic ending.

In this third installment of the "Fallen" saga, Secret Service agent Mike Banning (Gerard Butler) is accused of attempting to assassinate President Allan Trumbull (Morgan Freeman).

After being detained, Banning manages to escape and seeks to clear his name. In order to do so, he must evade other agents from his own security agency, as well as members of the FBI.

In order to protect his family and save his nation from a terrorist attack, Mike Banning will have to ally himself with dangerous individuals and go to great lengths in the midst of constant pursuit against him.

Jada Pinkett Smith (The Matrix Reloaded), Lance Reddick (Fringe), and Piper Perabo (Covert Affairs) are also part of "Angel Has Fallen," the film that concludes the action trilogy with Gerard Butler.

The first installment of these action films was released in 2013 under the name "Olympus has Fallen" and tells the story of the capture of the White House by a terrorist. This film grossed $170 million worldwide.

"London Has Fallen" was the second film with Butler as an action hero, and it revolves around the attempted assassination of world leaders during the funeral of the British Prime Minister. This film grossed $205 million.

We can only wait for the release of "Angel Has Fallen" and see if it manages to surpass or at least equal the box office success of its predecessors.
