The African adventure of Cristian Benavente is about to end. Pyramids FC, the team that belongs to the top category of Egyptian football, would force the 'Chaval' to leave their ranks due to purely economic decisions.
This would cause Cristian Benavente to return, without glory or remorse, to the Jupiler Pro League. The club that would open its doors to him would be the historic Royal Antwerp, from the city of Antwerp.

According to the portal Het Laatste Nieuws, Royal Antwerp is considering the possibility of signing Cristian Benavente. However, there are no negotiations yet.
The Spanish-Peruvian midfielder moved to Egypt in January, coming from Sporting Charleroi for a sum of more than five million euros.
The beginning of Cristian Benavente's time at Pyramids FC was important and hopeful. However, his high salary would prevent him from continuing; that is why a club is being sought for him to continue developing his football.
