The specialized magazine Forbes published on Tuesday the ranking of the 50 most valuable sports clubs in the world, among which the Spanish teams Real Madrid and Barcelona stand out above Manchester United, which suffered a spectacular drop in this list from first place to sixth place.
According to Forbes magazine, Real Madrid is the most valuable soccer team in the world, with a value of $4,239 million, just above Barcelona ($4,021 million) and Manchester United ($3,808 million), which was the leader in 2018.
The well-known magazine Forbes, specialized in business and finance, published on Tuesday the ranking of the most valuable clubs in the world, in which Real Madrid is in third place in the overall ranking, with a value of $4,239 million, below the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL.
The white club takes the lead among soccer clubs after achieving 100 million in revenue, thanks to the triumph of a third consecutive Champions League and the new contract signed with Adidas.
Barcelona is in second place with a value of $4,021 million, followed by Manchester United with $3,808 million, which was the leader the previous year.
In addition, in the overall ranking of the most valuable sports institutions in the world, Real Madrid is third and Barcelona is fourth, only behind the American franchises of the Dallas Cowboys of the NFL ($5,000 million) and the New York Yankees of the MLB ($4,600 million).
