Real Madrid's Preseason: Navas vs. Courtois
Real Madrid completes its first week of preseason in Montreal, and the players are pushing themselves to the limit in every training session, especially the new signings, who are looking to impress Zidane and secure a spot in the starting eleven. But those who are also giving their all are those who are uncertain about their future or their place in the team, like Keylor Navas.
Finally, the 'Tico' goalkeeper will stay at the Bernabéu, unless there is a last-minute change, and this will reignite the debate about the starting goalkeeper position with Thibaut Courtois. While Zidane has already made it clear that the Belgian will be the number one goalkeeper, Navas is not giving up so easily and still holds a glimmer of hope to change the French coach's mind.
Thus, the Costa Rican has already had the first 'confrontation' of the preseason with Courtois, even if it was off the field. Both players had an interesting 'duel' on social media today.
After Tuesday's training session, Keylor Navas posted a video on his social media showcasing his best saves so far in the preseason, displaying a wide range of impressive interventions.

And Courtois did not want to be left behind. Three hours after Navas' post, the Belgian goalkeeper also posted a similar video on his social media, showcasing his best saves of the preseason.

It is clear that regardless of what Zidane and his coaching staff decide, the ones who will benefit the most are Navas and Courtois in this healthy competition to be the owner of the Real Madrid goal, which will only enhance the level of both great players.
