In its second match for the Sub-20 Volleyball World Cup, taking place in Mexico, Peru defeated Egypt and is one step away from reaching the next round.

The Peruvian National Team, led by Natalia Málaga, prevailed without major difficulties, winning 3-0 against the African team, with partial scores of 25-16, 25-15, and 25-16.

After the match, Peru is now the leader in its group with two victories, increasing its chances of making it into the best teams of the international tournament.

In the other match of the group, China (the current world champion in this category) and Poland will face each other. It promises to be a closely contested match.
