According to the Italian media, 'Corriere dello Sport', the Peruvian-born forward, Gianluca Lapadula, would leave Genoa and would be close to signing for the newly promoted club, Lecce, with an eye on the next season.
It is worth mentioning that the striker in whom Ricardo Gareca once showed interest has played only nine games last season, accumulating 522 minutes, during which he managed to score two goals.
To replace the forward at Genoa, the Venezuelan Jan Carlos Hurtado would arrive, who had a good season at Gimnasia and was close to signing for Boca Juniors.
Lecce, on the other hand, returns to the Serie A after seven years playing in the Third and Second Divisions. The team led by Fabio Liverani finished last season with 66 points in the Second Division.
