The Argentinian press, almost in general, has shown its indignation at the performance of the referees and the VAR in the last two matches of their national team in the Copa America (against Brazil and Chile), so they did not miss the opportunity now that Brazil's title is a reality.
The channel TyC Sports, through its Facebook and Twitter accounts, "congratulated" the title won by the Brazilian national team, but they did it using the photo of the football player Robinho.
This ironic greeting generated controversy on social networks and also a series of comments from internet users, both in favor and against the Argentine position.
Brazil won their ninth Copa America title on Sunday, after beating Peru (3-1) in the final played at the Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro.
The 'Canarinha' finished the match with 10 men due to the expulsion of Gabriel Jesus. In addition, the Chilean referee Roberto Tobar awarded a penalty in favor of the home team after a controversial foul by Carlos Zambrano on Everton.
This only increased the desolation of the Argentine press. The Chilean judge consulted the play with the VAR, but confirmed his decision and Brazil was able to seal the result.
