Bolsonaro accompanied his message on Twitter with a video. The Maracaná stadium was divided between praise and boos towards the far-right leader, who watched the match accompanied by several members of his government, including the Minister of Justice, Sergio Moro.
Before taking a photo with the footballers, Bolsonaro walked to the podium of awards set up in the center of the field accompanied by the president of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), Alejandro Domínguez, and during the short walk on the pitch, the Maracaná resounded with shouts in favor and against.
