Apple decided not to include the headphone jack of the iPad Pro that will be released in September 2018, following the trend of betting on wireless headphones.
According to a source close to the assembly chain of Apple, the classic 3.5mm headphone jack has not been considered in the design of the new iPad Pro that are about to hit the market.
The absence of the jack port makes the dimensions of the device lighter. It is commented that the 10.5-inch iPad Pro will be 247.5 x 178.7 x 6mm, while the dimensions of the 12.9-inch iPad Pro will be 280 x 215 x 6.4mm. All of them below the current models.
