Real Federation of Spanish Football (RFEF) confirms the venue for the Spanish Supercup
Finally, after several back and forths, the Real Federation of Spanish Football (RFEF) has confirmed the venue that will host the Spanish Supercup, which this year has changed its format and will be played in a single match and in a neutral stadium.
That is why the highest entity of Spanish football has decided that it will be the Ibn Battouta Stadium in the town of Tánger, being the first time that Spanish football moves to Morocco. It was also confirmed that it will be on Sunday, August 12th at 3:00 pm (Peruvian time).
This edition will be played by Sevilla, runner-up of the Copa del Rey, and Barcelona, who won the local titles last season.
