Peruvian National Team: Players who attended EGB, a club at risk of disappearing [VIDEO]

Miercoles 18 de Julio del 2018

One of the most important quarries in the country is going through one of its toughest moments and here we remind you of some players (including those from the Peruvian National Team) who went through elementary school.

Pure nostalgia. Esther Grande de Bentín, one of the clubs that contributed the most players to the national football and the Peruvian National Team, announced that it is about to disappear because it is no longer economically sustainable.

According to some EGB executives, the last resource that kept them alive was to have signed an alliance with Sport Boys to nurture their teams in youth tournaments and receive payment in return.

It's over! Paolo Guerrero received the news from TAS that he desired so much.

However, not everything went as expected at Esther Grande de Bentín, as the pink club would not have complied with the agreement, so the merger between the two institutions fell apart.

The club, managed by Catalina Bentín, withdrew its intentions to continue developing players when threatened by agents and clubs who ended up taking their young promises without providing them an income.

Although the final decision has not been made yet, it is very likely that one of the clubs that had the most influence on the Peruvian National Team will cease to exist in August.

We invite you to see the gallery to discover the players who passed through EGB.
