The former Brazilian international Julio Baptista, who played for Real Madrid between 2007 and 2008, considered that the hypothetical departure of Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid would be "a great loss".
Baptista, who attended as a FIFA legend on Sunday at the Red Square in Moscow for an event with young Russian fans, indicated that the Portuguese attacker "is a great player" and that his departure is a "possibility" but "we don't know what will happen, we have to wait."
"For Madrid it would be a great loss," he assured when asked by EFE about the effect it would have on the white team.
"No matter what people may say about Cristiano, he has left a tremendous mark on Madrid and the Spanish League as well. He has one of the best records in the league and for Madrid," he asserted.
Julio Baptista, however, would not give any advice to the forward from Madeira: "He knows better what he has to do for his life. I can't comment on his life or what he has to do."
