The German coach, Joachim Löw, will continue in his position despite the elimination in the group stage of the World Cup in Russia, reported the German Football Federation (DFB) according to information from various German media.
Löw has a contract with the German Football Federation (DFB) until 2022, and its president, Reinhard Grindel, expressed his support immediately after the elimination.
Grindel said at the time that before the World Cup, the contract of Joachim Löw had been renewed, convinced that he was the right person to undertake a renewal that, regardless of what happened in Russia, should start after the World Cup.
"My disappointment is still immense, but I have the motivation and energy to start again," said the coach, according to a statement from the DFB.
In the next few weeks, Löw and his technical team will analyze the causes of the debacle in Russia.
"I have full confidence that Joachim Löw is the right person to make an accurate analysis and take the necessary measures," said Grindel.
