This week has seen one of the biggest million-dollar purchases in the world, as AT&T has acquired Time Warner Inc., which includes Warner Bros., DC Entertainment, and HBO, with all the licenses they handle.
Along with this news, many DC fans have wondered what will happen with the movies, to which John Stankey, the CEO of WarnerMedia, one of the divisions in charge of managing Time Warner and DC movies, commented on this topic to the press:
"First and foremost, I think the performance over the last year and a half is setting the right direction in terms of the quality of the product and how the franchise is being managed. So congratulations to Kevin and the team around him for getting momentum in the right direction." Said Stankey.
"My involvement in this is to make sure to support Kevin in getting the best possible talent and to take the franchise to the next level. His decisions must achieve that and his direction must go in that direction."So we have to be calm, it seems that DC projects in the cinema will continue, but we will see some changes that hopefully will be for the better in the future.
