The Flash continues to add more characters to its cast that will participate in the fifth season of the series. After confirming that Cecile Horton (Danielle Nicolet) would remain as a regular character, now we have the news that a new superhero will also be.
We are talking about Ralph Dibney, the private investigator who gained the powers of Elongated Man. This character was introduced for the first time in the fourth season, starting as a detective resentful of Barry for making him lose his job, and later reforming after gaining his powers.
In the previous season, we saw him evolve to the point of understanding the true meaning of being a hero, so the news that he would remain as a regular member of the cast makes The Flash fans happy.

This character was very helpful against The Thinker, the main enemy that appeared in the fourth season, so his "promotion" would be very beneficial to the team for the next season. Additionally, let's remember that he is a valuable member of the Justice League in the comics, so a crossover of them on TV would be getting closer.
