Beneficial decision by the Club Financial Control Body (ICFC) regarding PSG finances

The ICFC has finally decided not to impose a severe sanction on PSG, which would have prevented them from participating in the transfer market as usual. The only requirement that the club has to meet, according to L'Equipe, is to generate €60 million in revenue before June 30. PSG is planning to work on fulfilling this demand as soon as possible.

Parisian club can breathe easy

Thanks to the unexpected decision by ICFC, PSG can now be content with their financial situation. The club only needs to make a few sales to meet the financial requirement. The three players that are on the market are Odsonne Edouard, Javier Pastore, and Gonçalo Guedes. These players are seen as potential sources of revenue, although the amount PSG will receive from Edouard, who is being pursued by Celtic Glasgow, is not expected to be as significant as the other two.

Potential transfer destinations

The departure of Pastore is expected to generate a lot of interest in the transfer market. In fact, according to Daily Record, West Ham is willing to offer €30 million to PSG for the acquisition of the player. This would cover half of the financial requirement set by UEFA. The remaining amount could potentially be met through the sale of Gonçalo Guedes. Valencia is reportedly willing to offer up to €50 million for the Portuguese winger, although PSG might demand an even higher fee.

Potential signings

While they wait for the sales to be finalized, Gianluigi Buffon patiently awaits news from PSG. He is expected to sign a new contract with the Parisian club, possibly his last as a professional player. In addition to Buffon, other potential moves for PSG, as mentioned in Le Parisien, include Alex Sandro (Juventus Turin) and Raphael Guerreiro (Dortmund). There is even speculation that PSG might make an effort to acquire Alex Telles from Porto. PSG has many plans for the future, but first they need to address their financial deficit to participate in an exciting transfer market.
