Marvel has managed to position "Avengers: Infinity War" as the fourth highest-grossing film in history. Just on Monday of this week, the company managed to raise an additional $921,000.
This figure was enough to surpass "Avatar" and "Titanic" in terms of box office. Forbes reported that "Infinity War" reached the astonishing amount of $2,000,392,000, bringing it closer to "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," which had a mark of $2,068,000,000.
On the other hand, "Avatar" remains atop of both films with over $2,788 million and "Titanic" with $2,187.5 million. Interestingly, the Marvel film has been a global success, but in the United States, "Black Panther" is still the most viewed superhero film of all time.
"Avengers: Infinity War" brings together Marvel heroes in a joint fight against Thanos and the Black Order. The 'Mad Titan' aims to find the Infinity Stones in order to eliminate half of all living beings in the universe.
