The future of the Nintendo Switch depends on the video games that are presented at this E3 2018. The catalog of titles for the hybrid console has not been the most extensive in the market, but the trend could be reversed in 2019.
The same company announced days ago that the Nintendo Direct would focus solely on the Switch. With this in mind, we have selected some games that have confirmed their participation and others that are rumored for the console:
Super Smash Bros. is a sure bet, not only will it be seen for the first time, but the first tournament of the video game will also take place. In addition, there are rumors that indicate that it will feature new characters.
This presentation will be filled with indie games. Since the launch of the Switch, there has been great interest from third-party companies to work on titles that take advantage of the console's qualities.
The presence of Metroid Prime 4 and Fire Emblem has also been confirmed. Although no release date has been given, there will surely be new advances shown for these titles. Nintendo Labo will also have its space in the conference, as well as FIFA 19, Yoshi's Flipping Island, and Pokémon Let's Go.
The big surprise of E3 2018 for the Nintendo Switch would be Fortnite. The Battle Royale will not miss the opportunity to enter a new market; however, we will have to wait for the official confirmation.
