Argentinian XV gains confidence with a big win. The team led by Felipe Contepomi, who had just narrowly defeated Italy Emergente in the Nations Cup debut, comfortably beat Fiji Warriors 75-15.
The Argentinian team dominated from start to finish. The first try was scored by Matías Moroni, one of the Pumas who reinforced the team in search of playing time after a long injury. Juan Manuel Leguizamón, on his birthday, was the team captain.
Manuel Montero, Nicolás Solveyra, Manuel Montero, and Gaspar Baldunciel also scored in the first half. In the second half, Gregorio del Prete, Joaquín Díaz Bonilla, Lucas Mensa (2), Facundo Cordero, Tomás Jorge, and Rodrigo Bruni scored.
They will close the Nations Cup next Sunday against Uruguay, who defeated Italy Emergente and will fight for the title.
